I really am into my names meaning something, whether they are family names of people I admire OR book characters that have traits I want my kids to have OR just historical name meanings. I love the name Kate b/c of a Shakespeare quote about a good heart being the most important trait a person can have.
Sooooo, knowing this, I would love your help on boys and girls names (although DH gets to name the boys and I the girls, I can always influence him).
The story of this baby to help you help us with names: We tried for over 6 years to get pregnant (don't know gender yet), so this baby is truly a miracle. We have known each other for over 20 years, and we have been comfortable just the two of us, but we have always wanted a third (and fourth) to complete our family. The most important traits that I wish for my child are: a true heart, a loyal friend, team player but a leader. My name means honeybee (traditional) and industrious and creative (spritual) - it would be cool if my child's name had the same meaning. (I don't like the name Deborah, which also means bee)
I know this is lots of info, but we are just beginning to brainstorm and you guys have such great ideas.
Thanks!

I chose my son's name for meaning as he was an IVF baby conceived after years of trying and loss...his name is Reuben Saul. Reuben means 'behold a son' and Saul 'prayed for'. I wanted his name to reflect how we felt.
Melissa also means 'bee', Cordelia means loyal and is a character from Shakespeare's King Lear - you might want to look at behindthename.com for other ideas.
Good Luck
