Name Suggestions to go with LN Stone

We don't plan to find out the gender and I'm struggling with names that go with the LN Stone. I thought I wanted a classic name but am recently finding myself in love with the name Brynley for a girl. Original thoughts have been:

Claire Kristine (after my sister) or Claire Susan (after my mother)

and for boy either:

Owen Robert (after my hubby's dad) or Owen Chandler (my maiden name)

Now I might be liking Brynley even better than Claire and possibly with my MN: Anne.

Any thoughts or other suggestions???

Thanks!

I think Brynley looks alot nicer spelt Brinley, the other one just looks 'trendy' and not very pretty with the 'y'.

other ideas for girls:
Bailey
Delaney
Hadley
Holly
Kimberly
Molly
Marley
Paisley
Presley
Waverly
Whitney

boys:
Wesley
Stanley
Troy
Oliver
Oakley

I am not a fan of Brynley at all-- sounds thin and sort of made up to me. I much prefer Claire, although it might not be a great idea to do a one syllable name with ln Stone. How about:

Susanne Claire (my fav for you; has Susan, Anne and Claire)
Susannah Claire
Clara Susanne
Clara Kristine
Calla Kristine
Calla Susanne

I agree with pp. I like Brinley with an i.

I prefer Brinley with this spelling. Much classier. Brinley Stone flows well.

Brinley Anne Stone
Brinley Susanne Stone
Brinley Claire Stone
Brinley Sue Stone
Brinley Chandler Stone

Other ideas:

Claire Brinley Stone (though Claire Stone sounds a lot like Clear Stone)
Tierney Claire Stone
Anna Claire Stone (really like this as a double name or with nn Annie)
Ainsley Claire

Or use any form of Anne - Annika, Annelise, Anabel, etc.

For boys:

I like Owen Chandler, but Owen Stone sounds too 'rhymy'. How about Chandler Owen or Chandler Robert? I love the idea of using your maiden name, and Chandler Stone sounds very sophisticated.

Other names that sound nice with Stone.

Trevor Stone
Corbin Stone
Mitchell Stone
Hayden Stone
Jordan Stone
Alexander Stone
Isaac Stone
Eric Stone
Evan Stone

Congrats on the baby! Here are my thoughts:

Claire Kristine or Susan are both great options. Claire is a classic name and you can never go wrong with a classic. However Claire Stone is not the best flow. Clara Stone sounds better to my ears.

Brynley Anne - I agree with eveyone else that the Brinley spelling is nicer. Have you thought about Brenna? I think that with Brinley or Brenna you can do the nn Brynn. With Brynn as a nn that way you get the Y that you like.

Boys: Either Owen Robert or Owen Chandler work well. You might also like: Liam, Wyatt, Griffin, or Graham.

Good luck,
Brooke

I really like the name Brynley. It sounds original and classy. Anne would go great with it. I really like Owen Robert too. :) Best of luck in choosing!!!

It may have been mentioned, but Brynley Stone immediately makes me think "Kidney Stone."

As to the others ...

Claire -- I absolutely love the name, but I'd go for the two-syllable Clara with your short ln.

Owen -- the repeating long O sounds in Owen Stone sound off to me (maybe a little soap-opera-like?), but I do like Ewan Stone, for a similar option. Love your maiden name, Chandler, for the mn! ;)

ETA: After reading through the other replies, I thought it was worth pointing out that you might want to avoid using the same name as some of the more famous Stones ... Oliver (producer), Sharon (actress), Evan (very famous adult-film star), etc.
