Hi ...this is my first time posting here.
We are expecting our third daughter in May, and we are stumped for a name. Looking for some advice!!
Our first two daughters are named Grace (we named her before it had become SO popular), and Ruby.

So far the names we like best are
Violet
Cora
Lily
Katy
Stella
Emmy

What do you think???
We would like it to match the other two girls name, so preferably something old-fashioned.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.
Do you think that Cora matches the other two?
Thank you!

I think Violet is perfect!

I think Cora goes perfectly on your list with the other 2. Emmy is nice, but there are so many Emilys, Emmas and Ellas that it gets a bit common. Stella is a little out there in my opinion. Great names!

Thanks for all of your replies.
Your feedback is very helpful.
I think at this point it will definitely be either Cora or Violet.

Do you think that the name Eden goes with Grace and Ruby?
Do you think it sounds old-fashioned, or more of a hippy name???

THanks!!

No, I don't think it goes well at all. It lacks class IMO. Cora and Violet are both gorgeous choices.

I love the name Grace!

Violet - not really my style ... plus, Ruby & Violet is too "matchy"
Cora - I know a girl named Cora that ruined the name for me but it totally works in your sib set
Lily - Love it!
Katy - I love the name but Katy seems like a nn. If you use this name I would have her given name be Kate and nn Katy. Kate is on my top 10 list!
Stella - super cute
Emmy - same as Katy for me - this seems more like a nn. What about Emmeline nn Emmy? Emmeline is also on my top 10 list!

Other suggestions:

Clara
Emma
Sophie
Audrey
Ava
Eva
Emily

I like Cora! We have the name Estelle in our family and the nn for that is Stella. Nice, but I grew up being teased.

With sisters Grace and Ruby, I'd go with Lily. But here's my opinion on each:

Violet -- not my fav; harsher sounding than your other girls names.
Cora-- again, harhser than the other two.
Lily-- lyrical, feminine, old fashioned. It works.
Katy-- too modern sounding with the others.
Stella-- my second fav
Emmy-- seems a nn to me rather than a full name. Emma or Emily work, but Emmy is just not enough name for me. It would be like naming your girl Gracie instead of Grace. Have you thought of:

Lila
Charlotte (nn Lottie)
Lola
Molly
Anne (nn Annie)
Clara (works better than Cora to me)
Susan (nn Sadie)

I like Lily the best with your other two

I see Cora as too old - I like Cara or Corinne as alternatives to that
