Name thoughts (pre-planning)

So we have just started TTCing this month, so I'm thinking about names for number 2 now. We like less common names and would prefer not to name our children anything to popular. We also prefer gender specific names and more classic names. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to go along with the names we've already got on our list.

As a note, E names, G names and B names would be nice to have since it is quite possible that 3 of my Grandparents won't be around when number 2 appears and the tradition we follow says that you just have to use the first letter of the deceased name.

Names that won't be used because someone in my family already has the name: Noah (my 24 year old brother), Benjamin, Elizabeth, Ella, and Elliott.

DS is named Desmond, and we would prefer not to use another D name, we would also like to stay away from S names since our children use DH's last name which starts with an S and sounds like Single. I also don't need middle name suggestions we will be using a traditional Hindi name for middle names since DH's father is from India and it is our way of passing on the heritage.

Girls:

Gwendolyn - I have always loved this name it is our top girl name
Eloise - It is likely my Grandmother Edith, will not be alive by the time number 2 appears, so this name honor's her in the Jewish tradition that we follow since it uses the first initial of her name
Fiona - This name has been growing on me
Tamsin - I like the sound of it, DH doesn't really like it

Boys:

Graham - I love this name, but I am afraid it may be on an up trend and end up too popular
Emmett - E name for my Grandmother again, I am not positive about it though
Elias - Another E name I like, but still not sure
Alastair - We really thought about using this for DS #1 but decided we prefered Desmond for him, it is still on the list though.

Edied to fix the spelling of Tamsin

I really love the name Bridget. It's not too common. I have only met 2 my whole life.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I do like a lot of them.

Arabella - I like this, but bella names are fairly popular, so it is doubtful I would use this.

Beatrix - I like Beatrix/Beatrice, it is actually on my list I just forgot to add it.

Bronwen/Bronwyn - I like this one, but I don't love it, I am adding it to my list to see if it will grow on me, because I do really like it.

Clara - Unfortunately my brother's girlfriend is Claire and they are fairly serious, so Claire/Clara names are out.

Gaia - I like this, I'm not sure if I would use it, but I do like this.

Genevieve - I love this name, I just love Gwendolyn more, it has been added to my list though.

Isobel - My only worry about this one is it is so close to Isabel, which I love, but is really popular

Beckett - I've added this one to my list, I do like it, and a lot of people have suggested it.

Bennett - I can't use this one it is to close to Benjamin.

Callum - Someone else suggested this one and I really like it. I've added it to my list.

Cormac - Unfortunately all I can think of is the spice brand when I see this name, which isn't a bad association, it just isn't an association I want to make every time I see my son's name.

Eamon - I like this one and have added it to my list.

Everett - A lot of people have suggested this name, it has been added to my list as well.

Gareth - This was out number 2 pick with Desmond, it has fallen down quite a bit since then, but I still like it.

Griffith - I love Griffin/Griffith, DH is more ambivalent about the name, but I have added it to my list.

Magnus - I prefer Agnus to Magnus, but it is a nice name.

Thanks for your thought, I have never gotten the Tampon connection with Tamsin, but since it is a name I likely won't ever get to use anyways I'm not to worried about it.

Thanks for your suggestions I do like a number of them:

Girls:
Eleanor - I've added this one to my list a number of people have suggested it and I do like it.

Emmeline - I like this, I'm not sure if I love it, but it is now on the list, thanks.

Bronwen - I've added this one too, I like it, it is in my need to think it over awhile section of the list, I like it, but there is just something about it.

Brynn - I like this, I have added it to my list

Bridget - I like this one a lot, and have added it to my list as well.

Gabriella - I like this, but I am afraid of it's popularity, I do love the name though.

Gretchen - Thank you I have been meaning to put this name on my list and I keep forgetting to, I love this name, though I do like Gwendolyn more.

Gwen (I do like Gwen, just not Gwendolyn) - Oddly enough while I don't mind the nickname Gwen I don't really like it that much either, I love Gwendolyn though, which you don't like.

Boys:

Beckett - I like this one and have added it to my list.

Griffin - I have added this one to my list as well, it was on the list for Desmond, but was fairly quickly moved off, we'll see about it for the next baby though.

No worries, I love S names, I just can't use them since we decided to go with DH's last name. What Desmond's last name was going to be was actually the hardest part of naming him, and I was sad to give up the idea of S names when we did.
