I am not a fan of two mn's. If you don't have a good reason for using it, I would drop Leigh. Celeste Katherine is gorgeous.

I like it and don't find it too long. But, then, I don't have any problem with two middle names...DH, BIL, my son and my niece all have two and I moved my maiden name to the second mn position to fit the pattern. I think it helps differentiate on paperwork, myself.

It's not my style but I don't think it's stupid.

Actually, my husband has pretty much never had to drop his second middle name. It's hyphenated with his first middle name on his driver's license (as is mine) because the state of Michigan doesn't grasp the concept, but in all of the years of grad school apps, job apps, GRE tests, tax forms...I don't think he's dropped it more than half a dozen times. And I don't think I ever have, and I've had the second middle name for nearly 10 years. And I have 28 characters!

My FIL has gotten to the point that he's not sure which order his names go in anymore...he always has thought that he goes by his middle name, but when he got a copy of his birth certificate to get a passport, IT has his name in the reverse order of what is on his Social Security card. And his mother died when my husband was a few years old, so he has no way of clarifying just where the confusion started.

Well, I was just talking to my boyfriend about this and he has 2 mn's, and he said that although it is a pain sometimes, he doesn't mind it. His full name is Alexander Robert Michael P****. Both middle names are after grandfathers. Just thought you would want the opinion of someone who has 2 mn's (and his full name is much longer than Celeste Katherine Leigh).
