Hi all,

Our son's name is Graham and we're trying for baby #2 now. I post here a lot, and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some names for either gender that go well with Graham. My husband usually vetoes all the names I suggest. He likes Duncan for another boy, I like Nash or Sutton. We're not sold on any of these. For girls he likes Sophie, I don't and I like India and he doesn't. Amazingly we agreed on Graham. So, any ideas . . . we're open to all sorts of names.

Thanks!

Well, I think Tristan would go perfectly with Graham. You should try it on dh. You are so lucky to have that sweet little boy to hold. Mine is two now, and while he's sweet at times, he's mostly in the midst of a tantrum all the time now. I am getting the baby fever lately.

I know siblings named Graham & Caroline and siblings named Graham, Hayden & Everett.

Personally, I LOVE Gretchen with Graham but I know some people might find it too matchy! For boys, I think another strong, one syllable name - Blake, Miles, Leif...

Hi and good luck with ttc.

I think Duncan or Sutton would be a great match to Graham. I like the name Nash but I have noticed that it usually doesn't get positive feedback.

Actually the only Graham I personally know has a sister Sophia! Sophie is great with it to me.

I would suggest English names, particularly another English surname.

Here are a few others-

boys- Lachlan (nn Lock), Leland, Ashton, Tyson, Kendrick, Jantzen, Metz, Ramsey, Lars, Lincoln (nn Linc), Judd, Findlay(nn Finn), Langston, Stetson, Stuart, Nelson, Nolan, Donovan, Archer, Hagan, Damen, Branson, Brandt

girls- Funny, I like both ultra-old and traditional names AND funky names for a sis to Graham-

Julia/Juliet, Fiona, Bianca, Felicity, Natalie, Avery, Leah, Mariana (mary-anna or mary-ahna), Tabatha, Penelope, Sasha, Camille, Katarina, Katriel, Maleese, Valerie, Malena, Ellery, Hillary, Leila, Noel, Ayla, Brynnan, Brinsley, Ansley, Brinley, Brandtley

Either- Larkin, Spencer, Hartley, Hadley, Rainey

Hope this helps!

Trenton, Andrew, Jackson

Sophia might be a good compromise, but Graham is Scottish so how about Fiona?
