Names are SO hard. This will be our last baby. I need a name chosen by the 20wk US, as we find out the sex, and the baby is officially named that day! :)
GIRLS:
Emmy Marie Lane (Jacobson)
Zoey Marie Lane
Carys Marie Lane
Presley Marie Lane
Lucy Marie Lane
BOYS
Sawyer Jeffrey
Riley Jeffrey
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarah
Jessy Robert David 3
Sophie Marie Lane 2
Expecting in December

I like either Lucy or Carys for a girl. I prefer Lucy although I think Carys ages better.
For a boy I'd pick Sawyer all the way. Too many girl Rileys.
With Jessy and Sophie ...
GIRLS:
Emmy Marie Lane (Jacobson) - I don't think "Emmy" stands alone in quite the same way Sophie (love, btw) does, since that is a French form of Sophia rather than a nn, but it would work as a nn for Emma, Emilia, Emmeline/Emeline (-leen ending sound contains the same "ee" as Jessy and Sophie, even if it's followed by the N) or Emily (also same "ee" ending).
Zoey Marie Lane - Zoe (this spelling) is fine, but it sounds nearly identical to Sophie either way. Perhaps Chloe, Phoebe, Daphne or Penelope would appeal?
Carys Marie Lane - Carys is wonderful, and I like that you're branching out from the "ee" endings. It'd be a shame to drop a name you like simply because it doesn't follow the "pattern," KWIM?
Presley Marie Lane - I'd use an obviously-feminine name, like Sophie's, for a second dd. A unisex/masculine/surname type choice will sound like another boy next to strictly-feminine Sophie and Jessy, which could go either way.
Lucy Marie Lane - Lucy is a great option for you. Same feel as Sophie, in my mind, though the similar sounds of Jessy and Lucy would bother me a bit (but not quite as much as Sophie/Zoe).
***Is there a reason you have to use the same two mns as your first dd, btw?
BOYS
Sawyer Jeffrey - normally matching initials might bug me, but Sophie and Sawyer sound different enough to my ear, and Jessy and Sawyer both bring to mind rough-and-tumble little guys, so I can see this for you (and I do love Sawyer, btw). Something like Fletcher, Miller, Parker, etc. (not beginning with S) might also appeal.
Riley Jeffrey - this works as a brother to Jessy, though I don't care for the flow of RiLEY JeffREY. If you have

My vote goes to Lucy and Sawyer.
good luck,
Brooke
hello!! i know how hard picking out that right name is...ill start with the boys list cuz i like both of the boys names, but my favorite is sawyer. you dont hear it often, its a good strong name, it sounds good with your other kiddos names...thats my boy pick...as far as the girls:
Emmy Marie Lane (Jacobson)
Zoey Marie Lane
Carys Marie Lane
Presley Marie Lane
Lucy Marie Lane
i dont really care for emmy or zoey-both names seem to childish to me-the girl is going to grow up and be a woman some day-these dont sound like adult names to me-(even thoughi love the actress emmy rossum). if you really wanted emmy-you could name her emily, emmaline, emma or amelia and call her emmy for short. i do not like the name presley even remotely...its just not my taste at all...lucy and carys are all right-i would go for one of those-you dont hear either of them all that often (although i do hear carys a bit more now) and both names sounds good on an adult or on a child...jmo. take care!

With Jessy and Sophie...
GIRLS:
Emmy Marie Lane - No way... too cutesy.
Zoey Marie Lane- Cutesy, and this spelling looks odd to me. The y is unnecessary
Carys Marie Lane- love this, gorgeous and goes wonderfully with sibs' names
Presley Marie Lane- A bit masculine next to Sophie which is very feminine. It is just alright
Lucy Marie Lane- PERFECT!!! This goes wonderfully in style with Jessy, and espeically Sophie. I love it
BOYS
Sawyer Jeffrey - nice, really love this name.
Riley Jeffrey- Outdated, gone to the girls.
