What do yall think of the names (we're having 2 boys and 1 girl)
Colton Mac (Mac is my DH middle name)
Lincoln Gray (middle name after my granny)
Dakota Shea (middle name after my sister)

I like that you are using family names for the mn spot - I think that is very nice.
Colton Mac - Colton is nms, but a friend recently named her son this and he is so cute that the name has grown on me :) I also do not think that Colton matches Lincoln well. What about Cormac ______ ? This way you could use Mac and still have room to honor some else. Cormac and Lincoln would be a great match! Colton and Dakota go together, but I will comment on Dakota below
Lincoln Gray - LOVE IT! Great pick!
Dakota Shea - I like the Shea part, but Dakota is trendy. I loved some of your earlier options - for example: Amelia Shea and Lincoln Gray are amazing!
I actually love the sound of Cormac, Lincoln, and Amelia.
Good luck,
Brooke
I like all the mn's and family connection.

Colton and Lincoln are a bit similar, both having many of the same basic sounds -- including the "col" blend in both -- and ending in the N sound.
Also, pardon me for asking, but which one is the girl?? I'm almost positive Colton is a boy, especially with your dh's mn in there, but Lincoln and Dakota seem equally masculine, especially with the mns Gray (a color, so no gender there) and Shea (a traditionally male Irish name). The fact that the mns are both for important women in your life doesn't really give a clue either, and as a surname/place name and the name of a Native American people, it's really a toss up with the fns here. I'd look for something a little more obviously feminine for the only girl, especially since they're triplets and will be compared enough as it is. Some individuality would be nice.

Honestly? Colton, Lincoln & Dakota are not really my style of names at all. I would have thought that they were all boys ... seems too 'westernish' for me.
On a more positive note, all of the names flow well together :)
At some point you will be calling out all three names and I just think maybe you have a bit of a tongue twister here.
Good Luck!
