Naming Boy Dilemma...

My husband and I are expecting our first, a little boy, in early May. So far we have had such a difficult time on deciding on a name. He really wants to use Edward as the middle name since it's a family name, and though I'm not particularly fond of the name I've agreed. But for the first name the only one we can agree on is Carson, but I'm worried it'll sound odd with our last name since it also ends in -son. What do you think? Any other suggestions on first names?

Since you like Carson, do you also like other last-names-as-first-names (Mason, Jackson, Tanner, Carter, etc.)?

I agree that Carson would sound odd if you ln also ends in -son.

I think Carson might sound off with a last name ending in -son.

How about: Camden, Alden, Colin, Connor, Gavin or Logan?

I agree, Carson or any other name ending in son will sound a little too rhymie. Here are a few of my suggestions:

Caiden Edward ...son

Brandon Edward ...son

Landon Edward ....son

Christopher Edward ...son

Cameron Edward ...son
