I am not sure if you can help me, but I am hoping someone can!

Dh and I are trying to finalize the names for these twins (although no one will know the names until they born..except you people..so feel special!!!)

Both of our twins are girls, and there are meanings behind some of the

I love the name Danica, that is really pretty and uncommon, without being made up. I also like the idea of using a mn after your sister. Leigh-Anne does have the same pronunciation, but the extra letters just seem unneeded. I would go with Leanne, the simplest spelling, keep it the same as your sister, which makes more sense. I like both Sierra and Sara, but I think Sierra goes better with Danica. Sara is beatiful, but also pretty common so it doesn't go as well with the unique Danica.

Thanks for you response Nikki...

I guess I should of added the fact the Sara was the name my 3 year old came home from school one day (before we knew the sexes) and told us that the baby's name would be Sara..so we thought maybe it would be special for the name to be included..but I am with u on the uniqueness of Danica and Sara doesn't seem to flow with it...

congrats on the twins! How exciting for your family.

I really like that you want to honor your sister. I would go with Leanne. Danica Leanne looks the best IMO.

In regards to Sierra or Sara...I agree that Sara looks plain next to spunky Danica. To me Sierra looks a little trendy. Since your daughter chose Sara what about a variation of Sara?

example:
Sadie and Danica
Sally and Danica
Sarina and Danica
Sorcha and Danica

Good luck,
Brooke

Hmm.. that is a nice story. The interesting thing is that Sara goes extremely well with Cloe. Are you 100% set on Danica? It seems to me that Danica is the name that doesn't fit properly, although I do like it.

Cloe, Sara & Delia

Cloe, Sara & Delaney

Cloe, Sara & Brynn

Cloe, Sara & Mia

Cloe, Sara & Lucy

Cloe, Sara & Hadley

I think Danica and Sierra make the best set and I think they go well with Cloe.

I like Sara MUCH better than Sierra.

As for the spelling, how about just Leanne?

I like Sara.

For LeeAnne, maybe Liane, Leanne, Liana, Leandra.

LeighAnne would be the same pronunciation, but it wouldn't be my first choice of spellings. (but, that's just me :) ).

AJ, enjoying life with C.

I had to laugh when you said Cloe, Sara and Mia...when she first had come home and told us Sara, she said to us the babies would be Sara and Percy! LOL!

It seems most are in agreement on "Leanne" being the best spelling for you, and ITA that Sierra seems a bit out of place next to Cloe and Danica (much trendier, as others have mentioned). However, I absolutely love that Sara was your dd's suggestion! ;) Have you considered something like Serafina, nn Sera?? Cloe, Danica and Serafina make perfect sense to me.

for the first one, I think Sierra Alexis flows more nicely than Sara Alexis. Plus, then both twins will have 6 letter first names which I think is a cute way to 'match' them without the names actually being matchy. I also think Sara sounds kind of plain as a twin of Danica. I think Leigh-Anne is ok but I prefer it spelled Leanne. Hope that helps!!
