Naming twins - twice as stressful!!

We just found out that we are having twins. Besides being totally stressed out about everything else, I am freaking about naming them.

We have five children already:

Joseph Tyler (Joey)

Ashlynn Taylor (Ashlynn)

Donald Austin (Austin)

Lance Eli (Eli) and

Jacob Colton (Jake)

As a joke, I have always said if I had twin girls, their names would be Cassidy and Kennedy, but since we are more likely to have twin boys given our history I have no idea what to name them.

Need opinions on

g/g Cassidy Hope and Kennedy Faith

b/b Ian ?? and Evan ???

b/g need some serious ideas here

Thanks,

Donna

You have selected some names I really like, but I'm significantly outnumbered here. I don't like siblings to have names that start with the same letter and esp. twins. They are already going to spend their childhoods with the challenge of making their own identity. Twins are always totally different and I think their names need to reflect the uniqueness. I KNOW I am so outnumbered here, but I really think parents don't think enough about this! Do you really think a boy and a girl (esp. twins) will think it's cute to be 25 years old and known as Katie and Colby? (for example) There are many names out there that sound great together without starting with the same letter. Also, your other kids' names are similar, but not as much as the names you're considering for the twins. I wouldn't make the twins so matchy for that reason.

Anyway, everyone is entitled to select the naming style they like, so I've made suggestions both ways. Very best wishes for health and happiness in your family! I'm pulling for at least one girl. Joy to you, Ginger

I really think Ian is too similar to Eli, unless it's used as a mn.

With Joey, Ashlynn, Austin, Eli, & Jake, here's what I like-

For a b/g combo, it's easy, I'd go from your list-

b/g- Cassidy Hope & Evan Patrick

Others I like with the siblings- Braden Luke & Cassidy Hope, Cassidy Faith & Evan James, Devin Kyle & Kennedy Faith, Evan Daniel & Cassidy Hope

IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST DO THE SAME LETTER< I REALLY LIKE- Cassidy Hope & Caden Luke, Cassidy Hope & Keegan Luke, Cassidy Hope & Carter Evan

g/g- Cassidy Hope & Annika Rae, Cassidy Hope & Jillian Paige, Cassidy Hope & Avery Lynn

or Kennedy Faith & Spencer Marie, Kennedy Faith & Hadley Brooke, Kennedy Faith & Whitley Paige

IF YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST DO THE SAME LETTER< I REALLY LIKE- Cassidy Hope & Cadence Marie

b/b- Evan Luke & Holden Seth, Evan Daniel & Tristan Kane, Brody Ian & Evan Luke, Carter Evan & Trevor Ian

SAME LETTER< MY FIRST CHOICE IS - Carter Luke & Cade Evan

twins how scary and exciting. I like the names Jerrek and Javid for twin boys. That's what I would name mine if I had them. and twin girls I'd go with Kennedy and Cassidy. Those are nice names!
