Naomi is NMS but a good name. I think of Naomi Campbell and think it's an exotic name.

It's great! She'll love being named after women who were special to her parents!

Good Luck!

There's a 1-year-old Naomi at the library story hour, and I had a piano teacher (now probably in her 80s) named Naomi. LOL! So it brings to mind a toddler and an old lady for me. :-)

As for Josephine, I think that's coming back pretty strong, so there will be several Josies in that age group. I don't know any personally unless you count Josie the black lab who lives next door. :-)

I LOVE it! I even considered that name myself and her nickname would have been "Namie". Naomi is a family name. One of m Canadian ancestors was named Naomi and my Canadian cousins pronounce it that way. But we decided to go with "A" names instead.

Have fun,

I really like it. Nothing comes to mind instantly, which is mostly likely a good thing.

I like it. Nothing comes to mind particularly. I just think it is a nice name. And it would look good on a resume.

I've only known Naomis who were from religious Jewish families. To my ears, it doesn't have a pretty sound. I put it in the category of names like Ezra. When I hear them, I always assume that they have cultural meaning which overrides the sound they produce. Sorry!
