Plenty of time but I'm a planner. Looking for a name that can be either Jewish/Israeli or Hindu/Indian/Hindi. Preferred letters - A, D, S, R. Currently the only ones we're considering are Rena (girl) and Sam/Samir (boy). If you don't have any specific names but do have book suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!!

The first name I thought of was Sapphira. I'm positive it's Hebrew, but I'm pretty sure someone on here has posted (or another board maybe?) has posted another origin/meaning for it that for some reason I think was Hindu/Indian/Hindi. I could be wrong, that's just how I remember it. lol HTH!

I'm bumping this in case anyone has new suggestions. We're pretty sure we're having a boy and currently the following names are on the list:

Samuel
Aviram
Dev
Ari (my husband likes it, I'm not crazy about it)
Ravi
Raviv (although with my husband's last name, that's a lot of "v's")

Thoughts or suggestions? TIA!!

I just love Ravi! Ari is also quite nice. I'm not familiar enough with the others to really have an opinion (except for Samuel, of course, which I hear so much I'm getting sick of it).

HTH,
Erin
