Need a good boys name

Hi!

My name is Roni and my DH and I are expecting our first child in April. We are both so excited but are SO STUCK on a name. We found out Oct 3 we were having a boy and still haven't named him!

Dh was really hung up on using the name he and his father share. I am totally against this idea and DH now agrees with me. However, we want to use his middle name.

I would like something that won't be shortened and is easy to spell (I grew up with a nn and had to correct the spelling my whole life... it stinks!) and that we can use with the middle name of Charles. We are Christian and aren't against bible names but aren't trying to just use bible names (I am Catholic... hence the name Veronica Jo and he's Baptist).

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance... if you don't want to post... you can email me at ronipa@alltel.net

How about...

Roan Charles

Isaac Charles

Eric Charles

Griffin Charles

Ander Charles

Oliver Charles

Garrett Charles

Jared Charles

Rhys "Reece" Charles

Gavin Charles

Noah Charles

Jonah Charles

Truman Charles

Leander Charles

Wyatt Charles

Gage Charles

Davis Charles

Avery Charles

Luke Charles

Kyle Charles

A lot of kids are going by their full names these days, so I wouldn't cross the following off the list just because they have an obvious nn. I know more Matthew's then I do Matt's.

Matthew Charles

Samuel Charles

Benjamin Charles

Nicholas Charles

Michael Charles

HTH, let me know what you like/dislike so I can suggest more.

HELLO!! coming up with a name you can both agree on is harder than most people think-lol. my hubby and i can agree on baby boy names-its just those girl names that we get stuck on (and its funny cuz weve had 2 girls and no boys-lol). anyway, i like the middle name charles-heres a few names that i like with charles:(now i dont know your last name and ours ends with son so we cant use jackson, harrison, etc...try the name out with your last name especially in case it sounds strange...)
jackson
harrison
william
gregory
(the problem with these 4 is they do have nicknames and you arent too keen on those...but you dont HAVE to use a nn-if you like a name, use it and then only call him by that full name...if they want a nn when they get older, let them decide)
xavier
blake
john
ethan
caleb
aiden
or
jerimiah.
hth! good luck!!

When you said he was Baptist, I immediately thought of John the Baptist, and names that are forms of John:

Jonathan (my nephew is Jonathan Charles, in fact, and I love it - goes by JC now)
Sean
Ivan
Hans
Ian
Jack
Johann (Yo-hann)

I'd be interested to know your DH's name. Maybe there's a name that uses elements from your name and his that would be a nice compromise?

AJ, enjoying life with C.
