Need a good formal version for Mack

OK. I love the name Mack. It is so confident, relaxed and friendly. But I'm also not a fan of giving a child a nickname name (even though I had a great-grandfather who was given Mack as a full name). Problem is, I don't like the name Macauley, I'm not wild about the name Cormac (trying to stay away from the whole Irish name trend), and I don't like all the other Mackenzie, McKinley... names either. Can Mack be used on its own? Is there some other full name I'm not considering?

Thanks for all the suggestions. After reading these, and considering a number of other opinions, here are my finalists for using the name Mack --
1. Use it on its own. Mack. Sure it sounds informal, but that isn't the end of the world.
2. Go the Max__ route, and name him Maxwell, nickname Mack.
3. Go the first-name, surname route, and use the name McHenry.
So, those are the 3 finalists: Mack, Maxwell, or McHenry. Any votes on those three?
