Need a good formal version for Mack

OK. I love the name Mack. It is so confident, relaxed and friendly. But I'm also not a fan of giving a child a nickname name (even though I had a great-grandfather who was given Mack as a full name). Problem is, I don't like the name Macauley, I'm not wild about the name Cormac (trying to stay away from the whole Irish name trend), and I don't like all the other Mackenzie, McKinley... names either. Can Mack be used on its own? Is there some other full name I'm not considering?

I like that name. It is cute and would work for a little boy or an adult.

Cherie

Think Blue! We are adding a little boy to the mix.

I'm having second thoughts about McHenry Lewis -- now I kind of like Maxwell Ernest, still with a nickname of Mack.

McHenry Lewis or Maxwell Ernest?

Thoughts?

No offense but i think Mchenry sounds a bit like a piss take name folk would use when slagging off a scottish guy called Henry. My fav's Mack.
