Need help with another "B" name

I am currently pregnant with baby #3 due in April and am already thinking about names. I have two girls named Blythe Kathleen and Brynne Elayne. If we have a boy my husband is insisting on Barrett. It's his middle name and his mother's maiden name. The problem is if we have another girl. I think should stick with B names. The girl's name that I like is Bethany, but it might be too close to Blythe, especially if she ended up being called Beth. So any suggestions would be appreciated. As you can probably tell I tend to prefer unusual names.

TIA, Jill

Thanks for all the great suggestions! It really provided some food for thought.
I've always liked Bronwyn, but wonder if it's too similar to Brynne. Same goes for Brenna and Brianna.

I have to veto Brett (my BIL's name), Britt (my SIL's name), Brigette (my college roommate), as well as Belinda and Britta (bad associations with people I have known).

I want to try to keep to an obviously feminine name as I feel my other daughters names are quite feminine.

Bethany has sentimental value for me since it is the name of the town where I grew up and Beth was my best friend while I lived there. But now in the running with Bethany are the names: Bronte, Bree, Bryony and Briannon. I would have guessed that Bryony was pronounced "Brian-ee", but I do like "bree-on-ee" better. My DD Brynne has a friend named Bergen, but I don't know if could "steal" her name.

Thank you to everyone for all the suggestions!

First of all, I think Barrett is a great choice. Great fit, great family meaning!

I personally LOVE B-names for girls and I love unusual names. Here are some of my faves-

Brielle, Briellen, Betsy, Brea/Bria, Briony, Bekka, Breckin, Bianca, Bellan, Bella, *Bess*

Others I like, I decided are too similar to the other girls, but you may not think so- Bliss, Bridget, Brittan, Brannyn, Brandt, Bria/Brea, Braylin, Brandtley, Briley

Bethany is lovely, but honestly, to me, it's not a great fit with other two. It's more frilly and more popular. Plus, Beth & Blythe is quite similar.

Two other possibilities- It's more important to me that you LOVE the name you select for your daughter than that you find another name to fit a certain mold (in this case, letter B)1. Have you thought about moving down a letter (C)? 2. your other two girls have six-letter names. You could look for another six letter name. Or to connect them even more, a six-letter C- name---

*With other girls I like*-

(C names)- Cora, Cait, Calla, Cass, Celeste, Claudia, Camille

Six letters- Isabel, Laurel, Daphne, Rachel, Kenzie

Six letters & C- Claire, Cassie, Caiten, Cailen, Carina

My top choice would be *Baylor*- six letters & B, of B names.

My top choice overall with others would be Carina or Daphne.

Hope this helps & let us know what you decide! Ginger

I didn't read all of the other postings, so I'm unsure if this was already suggested, but how about Brighton (for a boy) nn Bright?

I would definitely avoid Bethany as being too close to Blythe.

how about Brittney, Belinda, Brielle, Brandi, Brooke.

good luck

I love your names! Brynn is one of my favs. If we have another girl it will possibly be Brynna (I have a friend who has a daughter Bryn and she would kill me if I did just Bryn even though they'd be 8 years apart.) My children are Brayden and Brielle so obviously I love those names. I always get comments on what a pretty name Brielle has and Brayden is still one of my favorite names for a boy even though it is more popular. I love the name Barrett and think you should really go for it with all of the meaning behind it. Other suggestions are:

Britton

Braxton

Braylee

Brylan/Brilyn

Breck

Beckett

Bennett

Briven

Brinelle
