I like Avari -i have had a hard time finding this spelling though. I have found it on some baby names sites, but not really in any baby name books. This is ok with me, I am trying to be a bit original.

I like it said w/ 3 syllables- Av-a-ri.

What do you think?

I prefer the Avery spelling.

I would pronounce Avari as A-vah-ri, not Ay-ver-y.

It really depends on how you want people to pronounce this name. Avari will probably be pronounced as A-vah-ree. And Avery will be pronounced as A-ver-ee. I personally love the name Avery.

I spelled our dd's AVERY just b/c I didn't want to have to spell it out all the time.

If you hadn't put Avery down I too would've though Avari sounded like Atari with a V. I prefer Avery spelling personally.

Good luck getting people to pronounce it with 3 syllables. My friend's son is named Avery and the 'e' gets excluded from the pronounciation, so really he's called Av-ree.

Definitely Avery. That was on my list too. The name is already different so I don't think that you should spell it differently because you don't want to subject your daughter to having to correct people on how to pronounce it all the time...

don't do it! Avery is a nice name, don't give your daughter a made-up spelling
