Need Help for boy's name - please!

Only 8 days to go until my c-section. I am so flaky this time around. Plus, dh and I are not agreeing on much at all this time!
Some on our list include:
Ian Maxwell or Ian Francis
Owen Maxwell, Owen Christopher, Owen ??
Hudson Blake (the only thing iffy about this is our last name starts with B also, but i cannot think of another mn that goes - any ideas??)
Simon Alexander or Simon ??
Harrison (yes, nn Harry!) not sure of mn
Callum - (like this but not sure if it is too Irish sounding - esp since our last name is definitely NOT Irish sounding!)
I am trying to at least get some names dh and I agree on. I know i've posted a lot on here, but I am finding it so hard this time around. Just when I find one I like I ask dh and vetoes it!

I LOVE Ian. I really like Owen as well, but it seems trendier or at least more popular. Ian is a great underused classic. I absolutely love the combination Ian Francis.
At this point, you might want to just take your list (or a narrowed down version of the list) to the hospital and see which "fits" him best when you see him.
I take it you like names than end in "-ən," making Callum a black sheep on your list. I'd strike it--you have eight days and you're having second thoughts about that name already. Skip it.
So you're left with:
Ian
Owen
Hudson
Simon
Harrison
And your boy will be going by his first name alone 99% of the time, so give that choice the most attention.
Your name choices are in two categories: Anglo/Irish favorites and American action heroes. In the former category are Ian, Owen and Simon. In the latter are Hudson and Harrison.
I think the first decision is to pick between the two categories. Then you can think of fitting middle names, which it looks like you've got a very nice start on.
For the Anglo/Irish set, some middle names to consider:
Elias (Simon Elias or Owen Elias)
Thomas (Ian Thomas or Owen Thomas)
Oliver (Ian Oliver--Simon Oliver sounds fine but you don't want to create an S.O.B. ;) )
James (Ian James or Owen James)
Jeffrey (Simon Jeffrey, Owen Jeffrey or Ian Jeffrey)
For the American action heroes:
Clark (Hudson Clark or Harrison Clark)
Dean (Harrison Dean)
Grant (Hudson Grant or Harrison Grant)
Ross (Hudson Ross)
Craig (Hudson Craig or Harrison Craig)
For the record, I really think that Maxwell is a stretch. I like Christopher, Francis and Alexander for group one (interchangeably--they all go nicely with any of those names), and Blake is great for either name in group two.

Thanks to all of you! I am taking the advice of the poster who said to eliminate Hudson and Callum. I do really like both names, but i am not sure if they fit into the style of our family.
So we are down to Owen, Ian, and Simon.
Now...gotta figure out mn's. I am going to print a few of the lists you all posted and narrow it down.
THANKS!
