Need help with Hollybeth/Hollyanne!!

I'm expecting a Christmas baby girl this year! I love the name Holly (especially for a Christmas baby), but my last name is also two syllables ending in y, so I thought I'd try Hollybeth or Hollyanne. Beth is my grandma, and Anne is my middle name. I kind of prefer Hollybeth, DH prefers Hollyanne (he loves the Boston song by the same name).

I guess I have two questions. First, which name do you prefer - Hollyanne or Hollybeth? Second, what middle names can you suggest? If I use Hollyanne - is Hollyanne Elizabeth too long winded? What about Hollybeth Anne? Does that flow okay? What about using Noelle (Hollyanne Noelle, Hollybeth Noelle) - would that be just a little too Christmasy?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts and suggestions!

I like both, but prefer Hollyanne.

Why don't you hyphenate, e.g. Holly-Anne. That way, you eliminate the visual issue of people thinking it looks odd as all one word, and you avoid the problem of having to explain to teachers, family, friends, etc. that her name is not just Holly and she doesn't go by just Holly. I think if you name her Holly Anneliese, for example - even if YOU call her Holly Anne, everyone would have the initial assumption that her first name is just Holly.

Also, instead of Elizabeth as mn, if you think it's too long, use Beth. Holly-Anne Beth __.

Hope this helps!

i like either Hollyanne or Hollybeth. Hollyanne Elizabeth would flow well with a 2 syllable-y LN. could also go with Holly Anne or Holly Beth.. remember there have been many Mary Ann, Mary Anne, Mary Beth, Jean Ann, Sue Ann, Sarah Anne...list goes on. they went thru school, business, life with their name with no problems, is common enough, noone would make them go by just the first half.. that is their name. have also seen hyphenated, that works, though the double name is more common, and to me looks better.

Hollyanne

Hollyanne Elizabeth

Hollyanne Noelle

oh another option, could do HollyAnne or HollyBeth..many JoAnn, JoAnna, LeAnn LeAnne, most famous probably LeAnn Rimes.

HollyAnne.. does look distinguished, i like that.

***HollyAnne***

HollyAnne Elizabeth

HollyAnne Beth

HollyAnne Christmas

HollyAnne Christine

HollyAnne Joy

HollyAnne Joya

HollyAnne Carol

HollyAnne Carole

HollyAnne Noelle

HollyAnne Noel

same looks more distinguished for

***HollyBeth***

HollyBeth Angel

HollyBeth Anne

HollyBeth Christmas

HollyBeth Christine

HollyBeth Joy

HollyBeth Joya

HollyBeth Carol

HollyBeth Carole

HollyBeth Noelle

HollyBeth Noel

***i reallllllly like HollyAnne or HollyBeth..and a Christmas baby cant be more Christmasy, is unique privileged, full of meaning.***

They are both pretty but I slightly prefer Hollyanne. However, I like the suggestion of Holly-Anne. It looks much nicer in my opinion. Holly is so sweet-best wishes!!!
