Hi, I am due in November with a little boy. We have decided we

want to name him Easton Brett. The thing is I cannot decide for

sure! I also really love the name Christian, but the thing is,

I think with our last name being Crowe that it may sound silly!

I also do not really like the middle name Brett with Christian

anyway, so I would need some new middle name ideas. Maybe I should

just stick with what I have...any thoughts??

My youngest son's name is Brett so I think you have a great name. I like Easton Brett Crowe. Christian Brett sounds nice, I am just not a fan of alliterative names i.e., Christian Crowe.

Best of luck,

I think Easton is a great name. I've listed it as a fave for a long time. Easton Brett Crowe has really good flow. Christian is appealing, too, but not with your last name. Also, it's much more popular than Easton, and still growing. I think you should stick with what you've got! Depending on how much longer you have before you're due, you could have Easton Brett in the back of your mind, sort of as a safety net, and search for other fn possibilities. If one really jumps out at you, then you'll have the baby named! If not, obviously Easton Brett is the winner! Take care, Ginger

I really like your choice of Easton Brett. I, too, love the name Christian, but DH has vetoed it, so I don't get to use it either!

I would go with Easton with your last name.

For me with my last one, it was so hard to decide. My dh wouldn't agree on almost anything, and we finally compromised and picked Jamison, but it wasn't my favorite, so it still didn't seem right. But that's what we named him, and now I love it and it fits him perfectly. I love the name you've picked, and actually like it much better than Christian, since that's so common. I also get frustrated because some of my favorite names sound silly with our last name, or have initials that I don't like, so that stinks, but I think it's better to give them up, then to give your child a silly sounding name. Anyway, I'd stick with the name you've picked, and maybe try to come up with one other alternate, and then just decide when he's born. Good luck.

I would stick with Easton...and in fact I think Weston Brett Crowe would sound nice too :)

Skip Christian..it is a bit too popular anyhow.
