ok so im 5 months pregnant. i still dont know the sex but i have a great name that i am definatly using if its a girl. now i'd rather not list it here being as its very uncommon, so much so that is not on any baby name list. and ive dont lots of research into the name and can only find 5 people in this world with the name. that being said i plan on keeping it very secret until after the baby is born. it does start with a c and thats all i can say. the reason for this post is to ask if you can help me find some good middle names. i cant think of alot other names from my family which i dont want to use. if anyone has any good middle names that are worth using please let me know!!! thank you soooo much

Congrats on finding a first name you love so much! Suggesting middle names is difficult not knowing what style of names you like or what the first name is or even how many syllables it is.

Perhaps, since the first name is SO unique, you'd like something more classic to balance it out. Here are some of my favorite classic names:

Catherine
Caroline
Felicity
Victoria
Beatrice
Vivian
Louise/Louisa
Mary
Eleanor
Claire

Or maybe you would like a unisex/surname middle name? I like those a lot. Here are some of my favorites:

Quinn
Harper
Eliot
Teagan
Greer
Sloane

If any of these jump out at you, or if you want to clarify what style of name you are looking for, let us know and we'll help you brainstorm names that are right for you!

its a little difficult to just throw out middle names without knowing what the first name is...any name can be a middle name. what kind of names do you like?? more traditional, but still uncommon, or very modern and completely unheard of, or "made-up" names?? are you wanting a more traditional middle name to go with the uncommon first name you have found, or do you want it to be similar in style?? there are some names that seem to work with almost every first name...like Rae, Elizabeth, Catherine. then there are others that only sound right if perfectly matched. good luck!

I agree with the others ... it's tough to help without a little more guidance.

Is the first name short or long?
