Hello,
We are expecting a baby in early 2007. We do not know the gender and are having a really hard time picking a name.
Some ideas we have for a girl are:
Paige
Emery
Jorga or Georgia (I really don't like misspelled names but my husband loves Jorga with a J)
Sarah
Megan nn Maggie or Meg
Audrey

For a boy:
Kelson
Emerson
Grady or Grayson
Todd

We have a daugter named Anna. Thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Emery/Emerson are after my mom's uncle who was killed in World War II. I have always loved the name and want to use it if we have either a boy or a girl. It will probably be the middle name if we don't use it for a first name.
Thanks for all the ideas to convince my husband that Georgia is a MUCH better idea. I actually don't like it spelled Jorga either!
Thanks for the people who suggested Tessa (nn Tess) & William nn Liam too. We have talked about both of those names but they are sounding more appealing all the time!
Thanks!

In that case, you may want to switch them, since Emerson is currently popular for girls (as others have mentioned) and Emery is incredibly masculine, not unisex at all. There are some other similar names you could use to honor Emery/Emerson as well. Emery is usually considered a form of Emeric/Emmerich, so that's one option. And since I'm not aware of any feminine versions of the name, you could easily use a similar Em- name for a girl -- Emma, Emeline/Emmeline, etc.

Just a thought!

For a girl:
Paige - This one is okay, but I can't picture it on a baby (only Paige's I know are 30+)
Emery - I couldn't do this one...my first thought was of an emery board
Jorga or Georgia - Georgia, please
Sarah - good "traditional" pick
Megan nn Maggie or Meg - I don't much care for Maggie
Audrey - another "traditional" one which would work alright

For a boy:
Kelson - Unique pick, it could work, although "Anna & Kelson"...I don't know
Emerson - I like this better for a boy than Emery for a girl (works well with Anna)
Grady or Grayson - Grady = Gravy in my school experience
Todd - The only image I get is my 40-something year old neighbor

Typically I'm not one for all the kid's names starting with the same letter, but one of my fav boys names is Alexander ("Anna and Alex")...for girls I like Madison (nn Maddie - odd that I like Maddie, but not Maggie??), Alexis (go figure), and Sophia (or Sophie).
