Not sure from your ponunciation, but if it's the same as Mekhi Phifer's, that spelling might be the most familiar to people (and less likely to be pronounced differently, KWIM?).

This is for my sister's baby boy. The last name will be Ansari and she is looking for help with a middle name to go with Makai/Mekhi...Big sister is Mallory. Baby is biracial (black/white).

I hope you don't go with the vote results and use Makai - because to me, that has a feminine look and could be pronounced Ma-KAY

I like the H in there for this name - I voted for Mekhi
