Need help with Stage Name!!!
| Thu, 10-28-2004 - 4:36pm |
Okay I know this really has nothing to do with baby names, but I am about to start a job doing weather broadcasting for Spanish language TV stations, and since my name (Kate) won't work and the other girl that does it calls herself Katrina, anything close to my name probably won't work. SO I have come up with several names (first and last) that I like and need some opinions. Imagine you are watching the news and the weather talent comes on... what sounds catchy??
María-Alejandra Guzmán
María-Alejandra Mendoza
María-Alejandra Méndez
María-Alejandra Moreno
Solana Suárez
Amalinda Arroyo
Gabriela Guzmán
María-Inés Villareal
Gabriela Morales
Alejandra Aguilar
Aracelis Arroyo
Araceli Soto
Let me know what you guys think please! I'm only a few weeks away from going on air. :-)
Thanks! Kate

It has to be a name you like to say over and over again, and I think that the María-Alejandra names will seem too long after awhile.
Good luck and congratz on your new job!
It's catchy, and it won't be cumbersome to say on the air. Plus, even though it's a "stage name," it doesn't really sound like one! I think if you go with the same initial, it sounds too matchy and a bit less natural.
you want uniquely, distinctively standing out..Maria won't do that.
i like
Solana Suarez
also like Alejandra tho not with Aguiler(and i'm wanting to say AguilerA)
i worked with a American/PRican lady named * Jahaira *(ppl say Jah-Hye-Rah or Jah-Harr-Ah) has such a pretty sound, warming, distinctive. thought i'd share with you.
Alejandra Guajardo
flows beautifully nice, sounds sexy, distinctive, warming, friendly, approachable
