Need help w/ Middle Name & spelling

We are expecting baby #2 in June and we have decided that we like the name Ila, but we aren't sure which way would be best to spell it. Ila or Aylah - or any other suggestions would be helpful. Plus we are looking for a middle name to go with it. Our daughters name is Ava Grace, so something that flows well is all we are looking for. Thanks for your help!!

What a lovely name! Ila is simple enough, and people will understand it, but I would spell it the Scottish way, Isla (think of island), which I think looks beautiful as well as sounding it. I lived in Scotland for a few years, so this is how I came to know and love the name. Anything starting with an A is going to confuse people make them think AY-la rather than Eye-la, so I would steer clear of that.
I love to see the middle name slot have a special meaning or honor a family member, but on sound alone, what about:
Isla Rose
Isla Pearl
Isla Hope
Thanks for your advice. I just noticed on another post the Isla spelling and think that is very pretty. As for middle name we haven't came up with any family name that goes with it, but we still have some time.
Thanks again!!
I agree ... Isla (this spelling) is lovely. ;) I couldn't talk dh into it with any of our girls, but I did get Aila with the youngest.

I'm not quite sure what name you are talking about. Isla is a great Scottish name pronounced "eye-luh" (is this what you mean by Ila?) Aila, on the other hand, has a differnet pronunciation- "ail-uh". I like both, but prefer Isla. However, I would keep with the proper spellings to avoid confusion and the look of trendiness.

Hmmm ....
I like the spelling Aylah better than Ila. I cant come up with a better spelling for you sorry.
What about Aylah Elizabeth, Aylah Faith, Aylah Hope, Ayla Mae or Ayla Rose?
I love the name Ava Grace!
I do think that Ava and Aylah are a little close in sound ... just a thought
