Need Ideas for Baby #3 Name

Wed, 12-28-2005 - 10:52pm

Hi Everyone...hoping for some help. I have a daughter, Ellery (Elle) who is 4. I also have a son Grayson (Gray) who is 2. We are expecting a third soon, a boy, and I need a name! The other two names are Old English, but most importantly, just need one that "goes"...last name is Spyker.

Thanks in advance.

I really like Elle, Gray, and Reed, if its a boy. Another nice choice, IMO, would be Isaac. For girls, Ava or Claire.

Thanks for these great suggestions! I'm going to add a couple to our list and run it past my husband, so this helps a lot. I want something that works well with Ellery and Grayson and has the same level of being less popular but not that out-there! Thanks

Reid (diff sp) is one of my favorites and I thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately, we have a semi-close friend that used it about a year ago, and I think I'd feel weird using it, too. She knows I liked it before she chose it, because I almost used it for Gray...son #1. It's possible I even gave her the idea. Well, I guess ideally I will come up with something else. Thank you for your suggestions, very appreciated!

Thank you for your suggestions! I had to laugh because I love Ryker. I always liked Ryder, too. With the last name of Spyker, those would be hysterical. I feel like any two syllable name ending in -er (tons) are now off limits. I'm running Kent past my husband, I like that one. What do you think of Trent, Trenton?

Thank you! I loved your suggestions. I like Easton, Marshall, Finnian a lot. I was also thinking Weston, (Wes) but not sure Wes Spyker doesn't run together. Not sure. Finn is such a great name, worried it may get popular fast...a few here have used it recently. Also considering Trenton (Trent)...what do you think of that one? How about Dashiell (Dash), Rourke, Brody, Loudon? My husband looks at me funny no matter what I suggest! Ha ha.

Sean and Vaughn are two that are standing out in my head right now. I don't know why.
