I can think of a lot that have a distinctive girly nn but there is no boy nn or the boy nn is also used on girls.

i like McLane....I think you got it in one try!
i have been considering using McLayne for my baby's middle name if it is a girl because i wasnt to use the first name Selah and middl name Layne...but its a little L heavy....so i thought i could break it up a little by adding a Mc- or a De-....Selah McLayne or Selah Delaynee. i really like McLane....and it works for a boy or girl...its not common at all. i think its perfect! good luck!!
