Need a name for #4!

Hi Ladies~

Y'all were so helpful naming #2 and #3 at our house I'm back for more! LOL! Just found our this weekend baby #4 is coming this summer. So of course what's the first thing I do? Start OBSESSING over names.

Here's where I'm at. My 3 girls are

Caroline Rebekah
Amelia Kate
Greta Lindsay

I am 90% sure a boy would be Wyatt or Wilson. DH's name is Tim so I kinda feel pressure to use Timothy for mn but honestly I don't really love it. I have always tended with mns to use names I love but are too common for fn or DH doesn't like it~hence Lindsay! I would love to use Asher or Grayson for fn but DH hates them both so I might slip them in as mn.

Girls is the hard part. Poor Greta was almost Girl cuz we had nothing! We like not super popular but not too out there. We live the midwest and everyone we know names their kids Jessica and Amber and Tyler and Justin. Nice names just kinda boring for my taste. We are know as the ones with the "weird" names! DH doesn't like one-syllable names (exception made for Wyatt b/c he's a big western fan!) No repeat initials (unless it's a different sound) and nothing ending in "a". Some ones we had listed before but didn't use are

Charlotte~front runner
Virginia
Georgia
Scarlett
Natalie

So what do have for me?!?!? Thanks oodles!

Charlotte - lovely name and I think it goes very well with your girls
Virginia - I think Caroline and Virginia are matchy
Georgia - see above
Scarlett - great choice! I would chose this name over Charlotte
Natalie - a little dated IMO

Other girls names you might like:
Felicity
Beatrice
Bridget
Sabrina
Iris
Ivy
Lucy
Violet
Elizabeth, nn Libby
Tabitha

I love Wyatt! I think that Wyatt Asher is handsom and goes well with the girls.

First, let me say that I *love* your daughters' names! We have considered all three, but DH vetoed both Amelia (my first choice for DD#2) and Greta. :-P Caroline, Carolyn, or Cara were under consideration for both girls, but didn't quite suit them when they were born.

That being said, here are some other girl names that might work for you. These don't all meet all of your criteria, but maybe you'll find something you like.

Madeleine/Madeline
Eleanor (possible nn Ella, Ellie, or Nora)
Meredith
Abigail, nn Abby or Gail
Claire
Josephine, nn Josie, Joey, or Jo
Rachel
Rosalie
Valerie
Melanie
Genevieve, possible nn Eve, Evie, or Jen/Jenny

As for boys' names, I think Wyatt Timothy sounds great for you. I also like Garrett, Malcolm, Calvin, Leo, or Russell as less "boring" names, but ones that aren't too out there.

Congrats on baby #4, and good luck making a decision!

I think your girls have BEAUTIFUL names! Do you use nn's with them?

Charlotte- This is gorgeous. It does start with a C like Caroline but it is a sh- sound so I don't see a problem. It is beautiful and fits in well.
Virginia- Seems frumpy to me
Georgia- Love this, fits in with the western feel you like
Scarlett- LOVE this, my fave of the list. It is gorgeous
Natalie- I like it, but it doesn't seem to fit in perfectly

I wouldn't do Georgia or Virginia, because you already have a Caroline (all place names).

Charlotte is nice. I guess it's also a place name, but doesn't strike me that way at first.

Other ideas:

Brenna
Brooke
Danielle
Danica
Diedra
Hadley
Janelle
Janine
Josephine
Leandra
Louisa
Marlene
Mariel (Mary-el)
Stephanie
Suzanne
Therese
Valerie
Whitney
Whitley

AJ, enjoying life with C.

When I read your girl's names, the first boy's name that popped in my head was Oliver.
Of course, I like Wyatt (its my son's name) and Wilson is very cute too - but for some reason Oliver seemed popped in my head! :)

Here are some girl name suggestions:

Josephine
Margaret
Danielle
Marjorie
Evelyn
Eleanor
Beatrice
Annabelle
Violet
Gwyneth
Stella
Flora
Lauren
Jacqueline
Alexis

I like Charlotte. My friend just named her baby girl Charlotte Elizabeth, and I have fallen in love with it. Scarlett is also very pretty, and both names go well with your other girls' names. As for a boy, do you like your husband's middle name any better than his first?
