Hi All,
I'm 39 1/2 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child and still not settled on a baby name ... any 2nd opinions are welcome on our choices below. My son's name is David Zachary and goes by his middle name, Zach (his dad's name is David). We're looking for something similarly "strong and classic" that we/she won't dislike by the time she's an adult. We're trying to stick to Hebrew origin names that have good meanings.
Annabelle Ruth --> I like Annabelle but not totally crazy about Ruth ... feels like any old lady (????) but we need a simple middle name since our last name is complicated and has 3 syllables. Initials would be ART ... not sure I like that as I don't want kids to call her fartie artie. Am I being paranoid??!!
Bethany Anne --> I like this one but I'm not totally in love with it. I like both names but somehow I'm not sure if it's special enough. Initials would be BAT ... again, worried about teasing.
Abigail Helen --> This is probably my favorite name but we've ruled it out several times because the name Abigail is so popular now and we hear every other child on the playground being called Abby. I also like Helen because it's my mom's middle name and tomorrow is her birthday so if we go into labor tomorrow, it would be quite appropriate.
Ok. That's it. Thanks for listening and again, opinions are welcome

I LOVE Annabelle! I am not wild about Bethany. And while Abigail is great - it is too popular for my taste! Back to Annabelle...
Why not Annabelle Helen? It honors your mom and it sounds lovely.
A couple others:
Annabelle Katherine
Annabelle Louise
Annabelle Claire
Annabelle Autumn (season she is born in)
Annabelle Elizabeth
Annabelle Kate
Good Luck!
Jaime
Great girls names with Hebrew origins:
Leah (LOVE this, especially as a sister to Zach), not the best meaning (weary), but so cute!
Moriah
Adah
Naomi
Miriam
Susanna
Good luck!
My vote goes to Bethany Ann, I just really like that.
I love Helen. Any chance of that as a first name? I think it has that classic/timeless quality and is not overly popular right now. Another twist would be Helene or Helena (Huh-leen/Huh-leena).
From the others on your list, I also really love Bethany. The initials BAT aren't great - what about another one-syllable middle name? (May, Jane, Ruth, Dawn, etc.) Just stay away from "L" for a mn - then she'll be BLT. :)
FWIW, I think Ruth is sweet and timeless - I don't think old lady at all. Similar to Ruby.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
I love Abigail, but I understand your concerns about popularity.
Annabelle Grace would
