After going through hell with this descision, we finally agreed on a name!!! We both loved Aidan for a first name, but disagreed on the middle name. So, we decided to give him 2! His name will be Aidan Lee Layton Stevens. What do you think? Our only problem is spelling. There are a catrillion ways to spell all three names!
Lee, Lei, Leigh
Layton, Layton, Layten, Laton, Latan, Laten

I would spell Aidan the traditional way. So "Aidan" or maybe "Aiden"- but I really prefer it the first way. I don't like any of the other spellings.
I would only spell the first middle name "LEE".
"Leigh" is too feminine, and "Lei" seems feminine to me as well, and reminds me of what people get put around their necks upon setting foot on Hawaii.
As far as Layton goes- maybe Leyton. I think some of the spellings with an "a" in it look like something that would be picked for a girl. I don't personally see the name as a feminine one, but so many people are picking boyish names for they daughters. I'd go with Leyton. Though Layton works as well- that would be my 2nd choice.
Good luck!

"Why?" is a question of infinite proportion...
First I like the name and it's okay to give two middle names.
I tend to stick to traditional or common spellings.
So I would go with Aidan Lee Layton
aidan(or aiden) and lee(the other lees are more feminine)
as far as layton-i would say its fine that way...if you use another spelling-like laten-people might confuse the pronunciation-and say la-ten(like latin)instead of layton. jmo. good luck!

Aidan Lee Layton is the best way to go. Misspellings are silly and usually just add confusion to pronunciation.
I do like pp's suggestion of Leyton, I kind of dislike the "lay" part of Layton (part of my problem w/ Layla too). I've also seen Leighton. But overall, I think Aidan Lee Layton is really nice.
Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!
I like Aedon Lee Laytan Stevens
The only problem with the spelling "Aedon" is that it changes the pronunciation. Aidan/Aiden is the way to go.
There really isn't a catrillion way to spell them, Aodh was a Celtic god, Aodhan is the diminutive form of Aodh, because Gaelic grammar and spelling is very foreign and Ireland and Scotland are attached to Britain and English
