So, my husband and I are expecting our third child in January and we cannot find a boys name that we both like....we have a girl name picked out, but with that, it'll end up being a boy, right?! Our other two kids names are Brynn and Wyatt...we want it to sound like it belongs with these two...my husband it thinking an old name, or a cowboy name (lol, yah I know, but he loves the whole Wyatt Earp cowboyness or whatever)...so ANY suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks!

Wow, I'll think on yours a bit longer, as I really like both of those names Brynn and Wyatt, and they definitely have a style to them already to match.

Colton or Tanner come to mind as cowboy-sounding names for a boy.

Someone on here recently posted a link to some cowboy/girl names. I'll see if I can find it tomorrow, unless they read this and post it for you first. ;)

Norah, Cora and Anne/Anna/Annie all come to mind (but Anne is too close to Brynn for me). Another double-letter name would be a neat connection, if you find one you love. Everett was my first thought for a boy, but I'd avoid such a similar ending. Griffin, Garrity or Taggart might work ... they have a bit of a "rugged" feel to me.

ETA: Here's a link to the cowgirl names thread http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-ppbabyname/?msg=42304.9 I know there's at least one web site mentioned that might be of some use to you. HTH!

I love Brynn and Wyatt! Those are great! And, I have to admit, I'm kinda' with your hubby...I like the cowboy thing, too.

Wyatt had brothers named Newton Jasper, Virgil Walter, James, Baxter Warren, and Morgan Seth, so that may be one place to start. His father's name was Nicholas Porter Earp. Otherwise, I really like Henry, Owen, William, Brett (though that's probably too close to Brynn), Max, Stuart, and Phineas.

FYI: Wyatt Earp met Doc Holliday at Fort Griffin, Texas, so Griffin may be a good nod to Wyatt without being so obvious. Plus, Brynn, Wyatt, and Griff match so well!

I have a son named Wyatt and his brothers are Chase and Spencer nn:Spence. We also had Cole on our list for Wyatt's name. Others your dh might like are Zane, Colton, Bryce, Lane, Levi, Luke, Shane, Beau, Dalton.

Hope you find something you both love.
