I'd avoid Alex- and Ash- names, like Alexander and Asher (even though I like them a lot), because for me those would be way too close to your girls' names.
I know many families where two children have the same letter and one does not - here are a few, I'm a little older tham most of you, so I'm drawing a blank
Christopher, Conway, Desiree
Joanna, Kimberly, Keith
Michael, Mark, Laurie
Anna, Faith, Aaron
Allison, Patrick, Amy
Evan, Alex, Allison
Elise, Luke, Lindsey
Megan, Logan, Morgan
I know way more than this - anyway, - don't force it - find a name you really really like for this little boy
I've never had any boy A names I was crazy about either - here are some names I feel match up nicely with Alexis and Ashtyn in style - maybe something there will catch your eye
what an exciting story!! congratulations! it seems like keeping the A theme must be somewhat important to your family, or you wouldn't have even thought twice about it. something in me personally would probably want to keep it going as well. not to be cutesy, but because its a tradition....
here's a few names if you want to keep the A theme going:
Alec Albany Amos Anderson Andre Ansel Anthony/Antony Axel

I think Aiden would go great with your girls names

There are plenty of nice boy names that start with an A.
Mom to
Haley Brooke
Brianna Elizabeth
Madeline Elise
Expecting baby #4 in March 09
That must've been quite the shock, to say the least.
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't use another A name just because its tradition. If there's a boys name you and your husband
I would not force the A issue
