Seems to me like they're a little late on this trend. All of the other Avas were named greater than 5 years ago. Didn't they get the memo that "Lola" is the new trend? I'm going to scream if one more celebrity names their child Lola. I think it started with Madonna nicknaming Lourdes Lola and now there's Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen, Carnie Wilson, Chris Rock, Jennie Garth, Kelly Ripa...Make it stop!!!!
Madonna's daughter's name is Lourdes Maria. She's called Lola, though.
This is one trend I do not understand. Ava is lovely. It looks pretty, it sounds pretty. It's just a good name, so it's no wonder that so many people use it. Lola, on the other hand, reminds me of that awful woman in Damn Yankees ("What Lola wants, Lola gets.") or Lola in Copacabana ("Her name was Lola. She was a showgirl." Yeah, that's just what I want for my daughter.). It does not sound attractive at all. It sounds very heavy and not at all suitable for a little baby, or a preschooler, small child, or teenager. I don't think you grow into this name until you're in your late-twenties, and that's only if you become a stripper. I just don't understand why so many parents like it now.
Whoo hoo! Go Zack Morris!!! Sorry to admit I know that!
So Ava is the offical "hollywood" trendy name. (Well I think its more than official by now)
Wonder if Screech has any kids???

it is pretty bad that all those parents named their kids Ava. on the other hand tho, lol they could have been given such worse "celebrity" names.
