Hello Everyone,

I'm new here & very glad I found this board. :) I am due the end of April 2005 and this week I found out I'm having a boy. I have a 3 year old DD named Makayla. One of the names I like is Michael but w/ my DD being named Makayla is this to close. I know Makayla is the female version of Michael... is this a big deal if I use Michael then???

I'd appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks,
Angie

I personally wouldn't do it. I went to school with a Michael whose sister was Michelle, and it bugged me to no end. And Michael and Makayla sound even closer. Mike is even a common nn for Makayla. But since Michael is a classic name, I'm going to go with the thought that that is the style you prefer in a boy. So how about Matthew, James, Benjamin, Jonathan, John, Jacob, Christopher, Zachary, Zacharias, Aaron, Adam, Daniel, David, Peter, Luke, Lucas, Neil, Nicholas, Mark, Paul, Robert, Roger, Richard, Charles, Samuel, Thomas, Timothy, William, Alexander.

I think it's too similar.

How about Gabriel, Samuel & Nathaniel?
