Hi all,
I am looking for suggestions for my fourth child, who will be a boy. My kids' names are as follows: Danielle, Michaela and Gabriel. I especially want the name to go with Gabriel, and would prefer if it were a biblical name. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jessie

Welcome and Congrats on #4!
You have your angels covered with Gabriel and a Michaela. Daniel was a Major prophet and a book of the Bible. What about another prophet name or Bible-book name?
Elijah
Jeremiah
Isaiah
Joel
Malichi
Nathan
Zechariah
Joshua
Samuel
Luke
Matthew
Mark
John
Peter
Timothy
Other strong characters:
Abraham
Benjamin
David
Jonathan
Joseph (OT and NT)
Paul

The first name that came to mind was Julian.

You guys are great! I love Nathaniel, but cannot think of a nickname (which all of my kids have) that isn't Nate, which does not go with our last name at all. Adore Samuel as well, and Julian. Elijah is actually the name I have been thinking of for years, but didn't know if it was over the top biblical. I'm also not crazy about Eli as a nickname (reminds me of a farmer for some reason, which we are not) but can't think of any other nicknames for Elijah.
Anyone know of another nickname for Nathaniel? Does Nathaniel go with Danielle and Gabriel or do they sound too much alike? Cutesy is the last thing I want...
Thanks for your help,
Jessie
Hmmm...I love that you are using Biblical names. Here are some thoughts...
Jadon
Asher nn Ash
Jonah
Nathaniel nn Nate, Nathan
Benjamin nn Ben
Micah
Aaron
Caleb
Joshua nn Josh
Jedediah nn Jed (not sure I spelled it right)
Josiah
Hope that helps...I'll try to think of some more
Interesting that all of your kids have Ls in their name, but it didn't jump out at me until you asked if Nathaniel was too much like Gabriel.
Nathaniel: Nat or Niel (Ne-al) or Nathan?
Another thought for Elijah is Elliot (the English version of Elijah)
=)
How about..
Joseph
Paul
Luke/Lucas
John/Jonathon

My firstborn is Isaac Michael and I have to say, i really love the name Isaac even 3 1/2 years later.....It means "laughter" in Hebrew and I couldn't think of a name I would wish more on a child than to always have laughter......
Best of luck.
