I really like it with Holland--but only for a girl. I think it's too femine for

I don't care for Channing for either sex. If I had to choose, I probably say boy because it's similar to Chandler.

Makes me think of Carol Channing (old singer/comedienne) and then Stockard Channing (Grease, West Wing). I wouldn't use it as a name for either a girl or boy because those associations are so strong for me.

AJ, enjoying life with C.

I'm not keen on Channing at all, to me anything ending in -ing is an action word and i can't think of any other names like it?

Ditto...it confuses me because the name itself sounds masculine but the two people I can think of with it as a surname are female--definite case of mixed vibes.

Channing is the name of a street in my neighbourhood. LOL. But even without that association, there is that up-and-coming actor, Channing Tatum. I honestly really dislike it for a boy OR a girl.
