They are all too cutesy for me, but I voted Carly. Abby is a nickname, not a full name, and Emily is way too popular (number for at least 10 years).

Abby is not a nickname. I know little girls named Abby. I don't like Abigail, so I would name her Abby.

I don't know why you say Abby isn't a full name. It can be whatever you use it for.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to post the same thing twice (asking me why I think Abby is a nickname). I think Abby is a nickname... because it is. You asked for opinions on the name, so that is what you got.

I Love Abby. My husbands grandmother's name is just Abby (not a nn). I like it very much. - Tara

I KNOW it can be used as a nn or a full name because people do it all the time, I like
Abby and it is used as a full name a lot. It DOESN'T matter. I don't like Abigail, I just like Abby and it will be Abby I use if I choose it. It's really not that big of a deal.

Wow- you really love to argue, don't you? All I said is it is too nicknamey to me. You askef for opinions, and that is mine. It's not like I said it's the ugliest name I've ever heard (which I don't think it is), so I don't understand what the big fuss is. If you ask for opinions, you are going to get both positive and negative thoughts. You don't see other posters on here having a tantrum when someone doesn't like a name they like, so I don't understand why you feel the need to do so.

Because....it's just a poll, not a discussion. I asked WDYT because I wanted to know out of the names up there which one was liked by you the most. Nothing about nicknames.
