Hi -

Ok, I'm pregnant and due November 3rd and I am definately having a girl. My name is Aurora my husband's name is David....With that out of the way...

We have been trying to come up with a baby name for months. At first, we decided on Aniyah Jeanae, but since my little sister's name is really close to that we had to scrap it. Then we decided on Jaelynn or Alyssa, but found out that His cousin has a daughter named Jaylin Alyssa. That name is now scrapped.

So, I'm out of ideas. I would appreciate some suggestions......Here's why it's so hard....

I have three sisters - Sabrina Athena, Lesly Elvina, and Anijah something.
He has two sisters - Danielle and Dana.

My mom's name - Mary, his mom's name Deanna.

I don't want to name her after anyone in the family because I want her name to stand out. Because of that, I don't like names like Allison (even though it IS pretty!!!!) and Sarah (plus it's my aunt's name). Am I crazy for wanting the perfect name? Is that even possible?

I was thinking of giving up and naming her Airyn (pronounced Erin) with an unsual middle name to make up for the first name.

So....Does anyone have any suggestions? I like names that have Y in them.

LOL thanks for listening..

Dava - I know a little girl named this after her father David. Dava Skye or something similar would be a cute way to honor both parents names.

Good luck.

theres this one name that i love, thought it might help. I heard it once at camp and fell in love with the name ever since. Unfortuantly it doesnt really go with my DF's last name, but it'll still be in there somewhere whenever that time comes :)

Ayelet

I think the appropriate pronounciation is Eye (kinda like ay ay )-yell- let. My sister even had a friend who has named this, nicknamed Letty. Dont know if this helped! good luck tho!
