Is this a 'no-no'?
- Is it a 'no-no' to have rhyming sibling names?
- For example: Gray and Renae or Camille and Neil
- -
- Rhyming is perfectly acceptable
- Don't have rhyming names
You will be able to change your vote.

I voted don't have rhyming names but that's because I tend to trip on names that are too similar and I already mess up my kids names when I call them! . If they rhymed too, I'd be sunk.
If you're not the type that messes up the kids names when you call them, I suppose rhyming would be alright.
My younger sister and I "accidentally" have rhyming names. My name is Michelle and hers is Ellen. My parents swear that they didn't realize it when they named my sister, but our NNs rhyme. My family has always called me Shelley and my sister is Ellie. As we got older we became Shel and El. That's what family still calls us.
I voted to not do it because I think it's too cutesy, but if you do do it it's not the end of the world.
I couldn't pick one of the choices to vote
in some cases names that rhyme would be acceptable, in other cases it would sound too deliberate and cutesty. It just depends on the names. each situation on that would have to be judged on its own
