I love the name Noelle. My youngest dd has Noelle for a mn.

Noelle Starr sounds nice.

I don't like it at all. I really don't like Star as a name at all, so that just makes the name as a whole sound bad to me. Noelle is nice, but I prefer it as a mn. If you want something a bit more unique, how about Celeste Noelle, Jonica Noelle, Jacobi Noelle, or Felicia/Felicity Noelle?

Like "Christmas star"? The name is pretty, but it has a very religious connotation to me, like it would be appropriate for the DD born on Christmas in a Christian family. If that doesn't fit your family, I don't know that I'd use it.

Noelle is a pretty name, though. :-)

Noelle is one of those names I could only use for a Christmas baby (not knowing when you're due, this may very well be the case). I definitely couldn't use it for a baby born any other time of the year -- akin to, say, naming a baby born in June, Autumn, KWIM?

Besides Starr Jones (I think she uses two Rs, not sure LOL), the only person I know with Star in their name is one of my cousin's twin daughters, Briana Star, but she was named by a 4-year-old cousin who's very ill (so more of a sentimental thing). Using it in the name does strike me as either very ethnic or very "young," for lack of a better term.

I think that it's marginally ok for a Christmas baby - maybe a little too cutesy. But not appropriate for a baby born any other time.

I'm glad you have taken it off your list - I can see your not getting much positive feedback!! Like someone said - it is a bit Christmassy! I do love Noelle though :)

From your new list I love:
1st ~ Claire Noelle
2nd ~ Madeline Rose
3rd ~ Abigail Rose

1st ~ Evan Alexander
2nd ~ Cameron Michael

Good Luck
