Hi! I'm Allison and I'm expecting a girl in 2 1/2 months. I am, of course, quickly trying to come up with a name! I LOVE love love the name Whitley, with an l, but my husband thinks it will be confused with Whitney too often, which I can could see happening. I'm also considering Whitley-Claire as a double name. So, what do you think about Whitley? And is Claire good pared with it? Here are names I like as options.
-Whitley
-Claire
-Madison
-Lacey
-Emma
-Kallie
-Anna
-Katherine
-Sophia
-Margaret
-Abigail
-Kaylee
-Isabel
-Lauren
-McKenzie
-Whitley
-Claire
-Madison
-Lacey
-Emma
-Kallie
-Anna
-Katherine
-Sophia
-Margaret
-Abigail
-Kaylee
-Isabel
-Lauren
-McKenzie

I like a lot of names on your list (Whitley is not one of them only because like your DH I think it would get confused with Whitney which I don't like...)
I do like:
Lacey (this has been a name I have loved since I was literally 11 years old) and I think Lacey Claire makes a VERY nice double name! It sounds very sweet and southern (I am in the south...)
I also like:
Anna Claire or Anna Katherine nn Anna Kate
Margaret and Lauren which I think both sound nice with Claire as a mn, just not a double name. Although Maggie Claire and Mara Claire would be cute nn's for Margaret Claire.
Good luck and I hope this helps some :)

I agree that Whitley would likely get confused with Whitney.
I think that Whitley is a cute name. Reminds me of the show A Different World. Not sure about Whitley Claire though. You have a nice list of names. I personally would stay away from Madison, Abigal and McKenzie. In my opinion they are too popular. But here are some other suggestions.
Kallie Jo: as a dbl-name
Claire Dawn: as a dbl-name
Emma Rose
Anna Katherine
Lauren Catherine: nn L.C.
Good Luck!
I usually am in full agreement w/ Jazznpercy... However I gotta' steer you away from Anna Claire. Sounds like "An eclaire" -- not that I don't happen to love 'em! Mmmm.
Cathy
LOL - I hadn't thought of that.
Names I like:
Claire - I like this, but I prefer Clara
Emma - I like it but wouldn't use due to popularity, I would use Emmeline
Anna - Also like Anneliese
Katherine - I prefer Catherine.
Sophia - Nice, but I wouldn't use because of the popularity
Margaret - Love all the nickname options, so like a lot
Isabel - I prefer Isobel, lovely name. I might shy away with Isabella being so popular
Names that are ok:
Abigail
Lauren
Kallie (only because it starts with a K, with a C it would be nice, I like it)
Names I dislike:
McKenzie
Whitley
Lacey
Madison
Kaylee
