I think we saw it more in the '90s south of the border. I think it's easy as an American to forget that, despite our similarities, there are still some cultural differences between Canada and the US. I hope I don't sound offensive if I say that I think Canada might be a few years behind, say, California on naming trends. (I'm from Michigan...we're a few years behind the rest of the US on naming trends, too.)
But I don't see Logan as much as a "90's name" the way I would, say, Chandler or Linzie. But that's probably because my dad had a great-uncle Logan who...hmmm...maybe he was named in the '90s...the 1890s.
I do think we are behind when it comes to naming trends.
