I voted for Griffin. It is my absolute fav of the 'en, on, in' names that are so popular for boys now. It is strong, easy to say, and very masculine (I've never seen Owen as particularly masculine, and Holden is almost TOO masculine. Like it's trying too hard). Liam would be my 2nd choice.

I voted for Holden because I think it's the least

Owen Michael -- fine name, but very popular, if that will bother you.

Liam Michael -- this is being used by many parents in an effort to latch onto the "Irishy" names trend, and while I like it in theory (especially as a nn for William), it always has a "trying too hard" feel the few times I've met a little Liam, KWIM? I also don't like it with Michael for you, since the Ms run together, so if Michael is definitely the mn (as it appears), I'd nix this one.

Holden Michael -- love Holden, but it has a very classic/literary feel while the others on your list are much more Celtic. On a list of similar names, this would have gotten my vote, but ...

Griffin Michael -- this GMV. ;) It's not too popular, goes well with mn Michael and seems a natural fit for you based on the other names on your list. You could even use the nn Finn (akin to Liam for William).
