Two family names - Elton is my dad and Aaron is after my best friend (deceased) Erin - we want to use both for middle names since I don't like either one for a first name. What is your opinion of two middle names?

Of course, we have no first name picked out and I am due in 9 weeks! ACK!

i don't think there is anything wrong with 2 mn's. either that or you could save aaron for a 2nd child (if you are planning on having more). aaron could be both for a girl or a boy. but i don't think there is anything wrong with elton aaron or aaron elton.

good luck on your name search!

I would chose only one for this baby...because with both being 2 syllables ending in "n" they sound sing-songy. I would use Elton for now because you could use Aaron or Erin for next child's mn depending on sex. If this is one and only (or last) baby then maybe combining both would be what you want to do. Just watch out what you spell...using EA or AE in the middle could spell some fun stuff with intials...lol

Good luck!

I think both mn's are good choices. I happen to like Aaron better though but since it is for your dad, Elton is good too. I would not give this child both names only because they sound similar. Also, I wanted to tell you that I know a man named Erin.
