I like your DS' names... and the theme is OK -- not too obvious and you've gotten good names out of it. (I know someone else w/ the theme, but in addition to Carter, they have a Madison and a Reagan. Ahem.)

Really like Grant and Pierce, and either James or Thomas are great middle names.

I'm sorry, but Jaxon and Jayden don't hold a candle to your other choices. I find them very trendy and faddish.

I like Grant Thomas a lot--the double t's aren't perfect, but I don't think it's a problem and it's a nice way to honor your first son. If you go with Jaxon I'd use the traditional Jackson spelling--it's so much more classic and you could still use Jax as a nn if you wanted to. Jaden is WAY to trendy for my taste (in 2006 the "aden" names were more popular that the top 5 names combined) and doesn't match the more classic names of your other boys.

I think first you have to decide who you want to honour in the mn position, rather than changing with each first name.

I love the gesture of using your first son's name Thomas as a mn, it has wonderful connotations and it's a lovely name (on my list).

I think honoring your own son would be a wonderful thing to do.

If the first two weren't intended to be a presidential pattern, I don't think you necessarily have to continue it with this child. I love the idea of honouring your first by using Thomas as the mn, though.

Anyway, if you're set on using a presidential name, how about:

- Abraham Thomas
- Adam Thomas
- Andrew Thomas
- Arthur Thomas (my favourite)
- Benjamin Thomas
- Calvin Thomas
- Franklin Thomas
- Harrison Thomas
- Henry Thomas
- Howard Thomas
- Theodore Thomas
- William Thomas
- Zachary Thomas
