Opinions on Irish Boys Names -WDYT?

Hi, I am helping my sister to narrow down her baby names. She is pregnant with her 2nd boy and just can't seem to find a name that fits. She already has a son named Aidan. They are looking for another Irish name. Any suggestions? What do you think of the names below, these are her final 4. Thanks so much - Tara
Liam
Owen
Brody
Ronan

Of the four I vote for Liam.
Has she thought about Griffin or Declan?
from her picks - I think I like Brody & Aidan
Possible combos:
Liam Thomas, Liam Joseph, Liam Oliver, Liam Garrett
Owen Vincent, Owen Louis, Owen Daniel, Owen Patrick
Brody Dominic, Brody Elliot, Brody Pierce, Brody Ross
Ronan Joseph, Ronan Troy, Ronan James, Ronan Austin
also like...
Aidan & Brock Harrison
Aidan & Riley Pierce
Aidan & Nolan James
Aidan & Dane Patrick
Aidan & Flynn Elliot

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out an irish boy name too. I like Liam too, although it is very common these days. I also like Connor and Colin, for me they are alreay used in my family. I was thinking of Quinn, I think it's different and it's irish meaning intelligent one. I thought that was nice. Let me know what you think.

Your post made me laugh because my first son's name is Liam Owen. Owen being a family name. And my 2nd son's name is Brody Theodore. MNs are always family names for us. I dont think she can go wrong with the list she has!!!

Owen - I really like this one
Brody - so-so
Ronan - ok
Good Luck!
Brody and Ronan are great! Love them both. ;)
Owen is really nice, but lots of other parents think so too. Does it bother her that Aidan's name is so popular, or does she appreciate the familiarity? Knowing how she's felt about that would help, because it is a great name, but very popular. It also sounds the most similar to Aidan, so I'd still put it slightly behind Brody and Ronan. Ewan would be a wonderful alternative if she hasn't considered it already.
Liam is my least favorite, mostly because a lot of non-Irish parents have been snatching it up (in my area) lately and it kind of makes the name itself seem trendy and "trying-too-hard" if that makes sense.

They're all good names and they all go with Aidan.
