There are so many J names out there I can't believe that Jensyn is the best you can find. Not only does it not go at all with your other children, I think the name is pretty bad.....its a last name, and its misspelled. If you decide to use it, at least spell it correctly.

I asked for honestly, not friggin cruelty!!!! Believe me, you could list any "J" girl name you can think of, and honestly I've seen it- not many are very appealing to me(or are used in mine or dh's very large families), I've searched and searched....as I said, I REALIZE it doesn't necessarily go with the others names....that's why I asked if you guys thought that really mattered. But judging from some of the cruel responses some members here lay on posters, I should've read more here before posting myself!

edited just to say- i really thought i could ask for honesty, and not get such a cruel response. why does honesty have to be so harsh?

Hi and congrats! WOW, you are very blessed!

To be honest, I dont care for Jensyn. And I dont think even with the "y" it sounds very feminine.

I do like Jenna and think it does fit better with your other children.

Here are some suggestions for you if you want them. (But I REALLY like Jenna)

Jada
Jaylyn
Jennifer (could use NN Jenna)
Jacie
Jillian
Jill
Jacquelyn (so many spellings)
Jadyn
Jaime
Janessa
Jaysa/Jaisa
Jasmine
Julia
Juliana (On-uh.. not ANNA)
Juliet
Jodie

MY VOTE GOES FOR JENNA OR JULIANA.

So, do you have the boys name picked out? If so, what is it?

I have always liked Jensen as a girls name. I do prefer the 'en' spelling though. It doesn't match in style to your other kids, but what really matters is whether you and your DH like it.

For some reason, Jenson Michelle pops into my head. :) I think that's pretty.

I also like Jenna. Either choice would be a great name.

Other J names that I like are a little uncommon: Jillia, Jada, Jamie, Janessa, Justina.

Edited to add: I was one of 5 kids. My 4 siblings had common names (John, Linda, etc.) and could always find personalized items. I had an uncommon name and an uncommon spelling. I couldn't find personalized items, but it never really bothered me. I always felt unique. If I really wanted a personalized item, I'd buy a blank one and paint/sew/add my name on. Good luck!

Jillian

Julianna

Julia

Jayme(spelled this way)

Our boys name is set in stone, we will NOT be wavered, lol.... John Walter. Dh's favorite uncle is John(same last name as us, but is Jr.)...his uncle had just one son, and he became John III....well, that John is my dh's first cousin, and

Thank you for your suggestions. I pretty much know in my heart, i believe, lol...that I will not end up going with Jensyn...just because it IS different from the style of the other kids. BTW, the middle name is set in stone, it was my mothers middle name, who is now in heaven....'Irene'.

I like it! Jack is so cute! What a great way to honor the family and it has the "J" theme!

Best of luck!

I don't like it at all. I have known a few girls who went by Jensen but it was a ln for all of them. I am assuming Jordan is a boy? If so you have one used up one girl name starting with a J, I would hope you could find one better than Jensyn. Jenna is not bad, not really my style but a decent name. Other J names I like:

Justine
Josephine (nn Josie is adorable)
Jane/Jayne (okay plain Jane, but I love this sweet name)
Jillian
Johanna
Julia/Julianne/Juliet

Good luck, I love John, nn Jack.

I knew a Jensen from school and she was a very cool, artsy kind of chick. I liked her. But this IS a more unusual name than the other children, and Jenna is more in the same category as Jessica, Jason, et.al. Just thought I'd chip in my 2 cents since it is a name I've only come across once but I thought she was quite cool. HTH.
