Kay so i was looking through my old baby names I had picked out when i was something like 10 years old:P Most of them were ridiculous but one of them i was like "hey, you know that's really not a bad name!" The name is Sya, pronounced Sigh-ah. Kinda like Kya with an S. I think I made it up, because I've never seen it in baby name books or anything. Tell me what you think!! & If your expecting don't hesitate to use it because I've already got names picked out!
THANKS!

Sounds like you like unusual names. I dont think you made it up though. I have heard of it once before.

AND I LOVE IT. Its really nice. Feminine with out being too little girly.

Best of luck.

There is a reason I don't like it.

The word/sound of a sigh communicates exhaustion/exasperation/annoyance.

When I hear the name, that's immediately what I think of.

Sorry.

Sya is not my style at all. First of all, it is difficult to pronounce. When I first saw it, I though Suh-yah with the emphasis in the beginning, not Sigh-uh with the emphasis on the second syllable. It also looks like there is a letter missing somewhere.

What about a spelling like Saia?

Saya wouldn't work because then it might be pronounces "say-uh"
