Opinions/Help on Girl Name

We already have one son, Jack. So I just want some opinions/help. We live in Mid-west and around here we have a lot of "cutesy" girl names. My boy names are Gus & Oliver. So...the girl name really needs to flow with the boy names, just in case we are having twins are more down the road. I'm going for classy, sophisticated here...so suggestions please!

Here we go...

Claire
Claudia - is this to strong for a baby?
Pheobe - I'm really starting to like this one
Sophia/ie (this isn't popular here)
Lucy (love it, but I think it's a bit cutesy)
Georgia - afriad people will call her "Georgie"
Harper - love it, but is it too masculine?

A friend of mine named her daughter Harper (after the author Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird) and I LOVE that name. I think it goes well with Jack and Gus or Oliver (all great names, by the way).

I also like Phoebe and Georgia from your list - they seem less common to me

AJ, enjoying life with C.

All are nice names. I love Sophia, but I have grwn tired of hearing it everywhere. IT's too bad everybody seems to get the same idea at the same time.

So, my choices are: Claire, Lucy (or Lucia or Lucille) and Phoebe, in that order.
Best of luck to you!

Claire- love it, and it has a mid-west feel to it
Claudia - No, not too strong at all. I LOVE this name!
Pheobe - I also really like this. It is spunky
Sophia/ie - Maybe its not popular where you live, but she probably will move eventually and its growing quickly in popularity. The others on your list are more special, Sophia is getting boring
Lucy - Love it, but I agree that on its own it is too cutesy. How about Lucille, Luciana, or Lucia nn Lucy?
Georgia - I really doubt that ppl will call her Georgia. Its a beautiful name and, like Claire, has a mid-west feel
Harper - Love it, not too masculine at all.

While I love the name Claire, I would probably opt for a two+ syllable sibling name for Jack.

Phoebe is a very good fit with your boy choices.

Best wishes,

I love Claudia! You never hear it, but it has a wonderfully soft, feminine sound. Claire is similar but more widely used. Phoebe and Lucy seem equally cutesy to me (not a terrible thing but if that's not what you want, I wouldn't choose these.) Georgia is lovely, but you probably will hear Georgie. Harper is the one that doesn't fit to me...I like it but it doesn't "go" with Jack, Gus or Oliver. Good luck!
